ShoreTel MySQL database backup and restore

Solution

 

 

Backup

 

Configuration DB:

 

  • Open a command line prompt and type:

 

CD C:\program files\shoreline communications\shoreware server\MySQL\MySQL server 5.0\bin

 

 mysqldump.exe –user=root –password=shorewaredba –add-drop-database –routines –single-transaction –port=4308 –databases shoreware>[backupfile.sql]

 

CDR Database:

 

mysqldump.exe –user=root –password=shorewaredba –add-drop-database –routines –single-transaction –port=4309 –databases shorewarecdr>[backupfile.sql]

 

Restore

 

  • Open a command line prompt and type:

 

CD C:\program files\shoreline communications\shoreware server\MySQL\MySQL server 5.0\bin

 

Configuration DB:

 

mysql.exe –user=root –password=shorewaredba –port=4308 shoreware< [backupfile.sql]

 

CDR Database:

 

mysql.exe –user=root –password=shorewaredba –port=4309 shorewarecdr< [backupfile.sql]
